FROM MALLORCA TO SEVILLE Jordi Poquet, Majorcan artist strongly rooted with the mediterranean style in captive with his pictorial creations. His painting is serious and gives a great equilibrium between the color and the form. He knows to summarize and to shape his work without excess of brushstrokes nor loads of painting. This time Jordi Poquet installed went to the gardens of Seville and formed with magisterial ability his water lilies in fishponds, coloured flower pots  in blossom and bugainvilas of the old Sevillian palaces, the light and the color overcome his work. The atmosphere of the marshes of the Guadalquivir absorbs Puebla del Rio. There he discovers the tartesic civilization.
